And here is our very own champion, little Pirate (who is not so little anymore!).
On the 6th of February we got a distress call from someone who rescued a kitten in Elsies River. We took him directly to Panorama Veterinary Clinic where they unfortunately had to remove his eye as it was dead. He was very weak and it was touch and go for a while, but he was a fighter and survived and thrived!
Pirate now lives with Loki, also a Raisen, and his mom Lindi and dad Gertjie. He is now a treasured member of a wonderful family and we are so happy for him!
A big thank you to everyone who made it possible for Pirate to get the medical treatment and love he so desperately needed!
